Atlanta, Ga Vacation Spots Essay - 646 Words

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I have been to many places like Paris, France, and many other places, but one of my favorite places to go to is to Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta, there are many places to go and sights to see. For example, Six Flags, Stone mountain Park, and the Atlanta Braves Stadium, are all in or near the city of Atlanta. These places are family oriented and are easy to get to by a car, or a bus. Six Flags is a theme park that has anything from sweet treats to fun rides. Six Flags provides many things for all ages to do and enjoy. You also can see famous cartoon characters, such as Bugs Bunny, walking around the park. Teenagers and adults who have strong stomachs might enjoy riding the huge roller coasters.†¦show more content†¦My favorite activity is the laser show. The laser show takes place on the mountain. Stone Mountain Park is also a main focal point for the 1996 Olympics. Lastly, is the exciting Atlanta Braves Stadium, I spent most of my time there when visiting Atlanta. The stadium is always packed with rowdy Braves fans wearing various forms of Atlanta Braves t-shirts, hats and of course THE foam fingers. The crowds are just as fun to watch as the actual game itself. They get into the game by hollering and cheering for the Braves to win the game. There are many concession stands that serve hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and cold drinks. It is fun to see all of the players dressed in their uniforms, they all looked like they were excited to play. The coaches were helping some of the players on the field and going over plays. The coaches seemed more anxious to get the game started. The field itself was so green and the dirt was so clean looking. The Braves games have been more interesting over the past couple of years. In conclusion, there are many places to visit in Atlanta. The most exciting ones include Six Flags, Stone Mountain, and the Atlanta Braves Stadium. Each one offers various forms of fun for all ages. For instance, Six Flags offer kiddie rides as well as rides for the older children and adults. Stone Mountain Park offers horseback riding and laser shows. Lastly, the Braves Stadium offers great food and famous autographs.
